Beach run on WWW

The annual Westcoast Warmwater Weekend is a family friendly multisport weekend away taking place from 12 – 13 March 2016 at the incredible and beautiful West Coast National Park, offering the ideal setting for racing as well as quality time out with family and friends.

We are pleased to announce a new partnership with MiFitLife, who are official partners this year.

MiFitLife was developed in conjunction with professional athletes (#4athletesbiathletes). This is a solution that recognises the sacrifices and hard work that athletes put in to achieve excellence. Not only are premiums geared toward fitter individuals, but a range of compelling lifestyle benefits and rewards are provided as integral components of MiFitLife.

Craig Baker, MiWayLife CEO says, “We are thrilled to be a partnering with this event as it forms part of our journey to support local events that give athletes the platform to improve their performance in order to compete in other iconic sporting events.”

“We are excited to have MiFitLife onboard to support our event on a variety of levels for our athletes. This event is a perfect fit with MiFitLife in harnessing the health and wellness aspect of every day life and bringing fitness to the entire family dynamic. They have also generously increased the overall prize money for the weekend to R55,000 which will certainly get tongues wagging.” Comments event organizer Paul Ingpen

This event is a great training weekend for those taking part in the upcoming Ironman African Championships as well as for those attempting their first triathlon at the Discovery World Triathlon in the Waterfront next month.

From pro athletes such as Stuart Marais and Vicky van der Merwe, to novices and first timers, there is something for everyone at this event with fun kids races, game drives, fireside entertainment and a genuinely beautiful setting.

The calm, clean and warm lagoon creates a great atmosphere and allows a fun and friendly environment for all.
