Adventure seekers prepare to get their IMPI on

Adventure seekers of all ages will swarm to the Van Gaalens Cheese Farm in Hartebeespoort (North West Province) this coming Saturday, 14 March 2015 to partake in the unequalled action of the IMPI Challenge!

“The IMPI Challenge is ideal for participants of all ages and all fitness levels,” says Pieter Du Plessis, IMPI Challenge Director.   “Junior adventure seekers can test their skill in the IMPI Mini which will continuously run from 09:00 until 12:00.  Obstacles that need to be overcome will include climbing through, over and under natural and man-made structures, wading through mud and running through water”.

“IMPI Challenge regulars will be excited to hear that we will be introducing at least six new obstacles this year,” continues Du Plessis.  “The course will also be run in reverse to last year, adding additional excitement for both the entrant and spectators alike.  All IMPI events encourage social interaction.  If competing in the Elite race is not your thing enter the IMPI Challenge as part of a team, we guarantee that you’ll be laughing all the way to the finish”.

IMPI Gauteng #1:  Van Gaalens Cheese Farm (Hartebeespoort / North West Province)

Date: Saturday, 14 March 2015
Categories & Cost: IMPI Challenge:  10 km with 18 obstacles (age 18+ years); R400 per entry.
  IMPI Dash:  5 km with 12 obstacles (ages 10+, all adults welcome). R300 per entry.
  IMPI Mini:  1km with smaller supervised obstacles (ages 6 – 10 years).  R100 per entry for unlimited circuits of the course.
  IMPI Elite:  18- 20km with 25 tough obstacles (age 18+ years); timed event with prize money; R550 per entry.
  IMPI Corporate: the 10km Challenge distance with extra benefits (age 18+ years); R500 per entry.

Good News:  If you have not yet secured your entry, you can still do so on the day!

The Festival Village will be teaming with activity driven by entertainment, good food and a great vibe.  A marked spectator route will give family members and friends the opportunity to show support and cheer on loved ones at the most exciting obstacles.

Best Dressed:  A huge highlight of the IMPI Challenge, IMPIs are given free rein on creativity.  The best dressed IMPI and/or team stand the chance to win awesome prizes compliments of our sponsors.
