PUMA School Of Speed set for Cape Town debut

The PUMA School Of Speed Series heads to Cape Town this week with the second event (in a series of five) taking place at the Green Point Athletics Stadium on Wednesday, 18 January 2017.  Launched in November 2016, the series is committed to the development of athletics talent in South Africa by discovering the fastest young Speedsters.  The School of Speed is headed by the World’s Fastest Man Usain Bolt, who has appointed reigning SA 100m champion Henricho Bruintjies as his Vice Principal in South Africa. AfricanX Training Run heads to Stellenbosch

Trail runners preparing for the 2017 Cell C AfricanX Trailrun presented by ASICS can get a taste of what to expect from the event by attending the AfricanX training run in Stellenbosch on Friday, 16 December 2016.
According to Dawid Visser, ASICS FrontRunner, the Stellenbosch trails offer different variances in terrain.  “Runners will get a good idea of what to expect at the AfricanX.  The route will be mostly jeep and single track.  The weather is sure to be warm, while the trails will be dusty.
