The second of three criterium style festivals to hit some of South Africa’s most iconic cities will be taking place in Cape Town on the 25thof October. Engen Cycle in the City will be bringing an exciting mix of high impact racing and festival fun to the city streets around the iconic Cape Town Stadium in a celebration of cycling.
With free access to the public, Cycle in the City is 100% spectator friendly as it plays host to the Cape Town Food Trucks, live music performances by Monark, kiddie’s entertainment and more.
What makes Cycle in the City even more extraordinary is that 100% of entry fees generated during the Cape Town leg of the event will be donated to the Specialist Burns Unit at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital.
Please note that as a result full road closure of Fritz Sonneburg Road between Mc Donald’s and Vlei road will take effect from 10am to 11pm on the 25th of October.
Residents and motorists are urged to visit www.engencycling.co.za for full details on all road closures and event information.
