Digicape announces partnership with Oakley X Over


JEFFREYS BAY – The winner of the Oakley X Over presented by Seartec distributor of Sharp products – the unique cross-over event which forms part of the JBay Winterfest – will walk away with an iPhone 6s (16GB), as well as an Apple Watch with 42mm Stainless Steel case and Red Sport Band. The total value of the first prize is well over R20 000. In addition each of the 19 invited athletes will receive a Sensor Smart Tracker.

“The event is exciting and different,” commented Craig Parker, Marketing Manager at Digicape on why they decided to support the event, which features a 15km mountain bike race, 9-holes of golf and a surfing contest. “Familiar faces trying something different and pushing the boundaries just like Apple does,” Parker said.

The overall winner is calculated on results across all three events. Now in its third year the event will take place on 13-14 July and experienced X-Over campaigners such as previous winner Butch James, John Smit, Ryan Sandes, Garreth ‘Soldierboy’ McLellan, Bob Skinstad and Greg Minnaar will be joined by the likes of Kerim Fitz-Gerald, Schalk Burger, Giniel De Villiers and Seabelo Senatla.
