The Enervit Company produces a range of sports food supplements and functional nutrition brands and products. The company carries out research on foods and supplements and develops, produces and markets products for people taking part in sporting activities and people who wish to keep fit. Its main product lines are exported to more than 20 countries all over the world.
Enervit Sports, one of their core product ranges, is a complete line-up of endurance sports nutritional supplements, providing specific products for every step of an athlete’s performance strategy: before – to increase the availability of energy; during – to combat fatigue; and after – for a quick and optimal recovery.
Enervit has over 50 years of experience in the sports nutrition industry and has invested significantly in research to understand the real nutritional needs of athletes. Thanks to the insight of the company’s founder (Dr Paolo Sorbini), Equipe Enervit – a group of doctors, researchers and technicians with different specialities – was established in the 1970s. This team works in perfect synergy with the Research and Development Centre, based in Zelbio, Italy, to scientifically develop products that, through a careful selection of GMO-free raw materials, high-level production processes and UNI EN ISO 9001-2008 certified controls, are of the highest quality and safe for consumption. Enervit products are born from this research work and in-depth analysis.
Equipe Enervit continues to work with great champions, which has resulted in the introduction of exceptional innovation into the world of endurance sports – in particular, new training methods and revolutionary food strategies. For over 30 years, Enervit has organised the medical and dietetic care for the Tour of Italy event. Additionally, the company works alongside athletes in many of the most prestigious events in the world of endurance sports. These include the Milano Marathon, Maratona dles Dolomites, International Triathlon Bardolino, Venice Marathon, Florence Marathon, Granfondo Nove Colli and more. Alex Zanardi, Lara Gut, the Italian cycling team, Daniel Fontana, Clemente Russo and Elisa Di Francisca are just a few of the top-performing athletes that Enervit partners with.
Enervit is distributed in South Africa by Sports Revolutions, a licensed distributor for the Enervit Sports and Gymline product ranges. Enervit South Africa has entered into the “Informed Choice” testing with the Dis-Chem Quality Assurance Programme, which promotes consumer safety by verifying labels, testing products regularly and auditing manufacturers.
