Newtown (Johannesburg) – Elite athletes Rutendo Nyahora and Lebogang Phalula will be seen setting the pace when they “Run Their City” at the much anticipated Totalsports Women’s Race at the Mary Fitzgerald Square on National Women’s Day (Sunday, 09 August 2015).
According to Nyahora, her attraction to the Totalsports Women’s Race Johannesburg is twofold. “I like the Johannesburg route, but I also enjoy the support received from the Johannesburg community. Last year I competed in my first Totalsports Women’s Race which was in Durban, following that I competed in the Johannesburg race as well. My main focus is not only to win, but to also run a personal best time. I’d be very happy to be presented by a big challenge on the day, as it could help me achieve my goal”.
