Speedo SA has invited swimmers to exchange their old goggles for a 25% discount voucher on a new pair at selected stores across the country and help make a difference to disadvantaged children.
The initiative is part of a global Speedo campaign, inspiring people to consider Speedo products as a meaningful gift this holiday season.
“Swimming means more to people than just exercise,” explains Speedo Brand General Manager, Deidre Scodeller. “It can provide relaxation, freedom, fun, a sense of achievement and so much more.”
Scodeller urged South Africans to bring in their old swimming goggles while shopping for gifts at Speedo’s concept stores in Canal Walk, Cape Town and Menlyn Park, Pretoria, Sportsman’s Warehouse and selected independent Speedo stockists. There, they can be exchanged for a 25% discount voucher on a new set of goggles.
All goggles collected during the campaign, from 5 to 31 December, will be distributed to disadvantaged swim schools in Cape Town, Durban, PE and Johannesburg, she added.
Scodeller said as part of the campaign, top SA swimmers Theodore Yach, Karin Prinsloo, and the Le Roux sisters Carmen and Clarice, would be sharing their gift wish-lists of Speedo products these holidays.
