Adventure seekers taking on the action-packed IMPI Challenge at the Van Gaalens Cheese Farm in Hartebeespoort (North West Province) on Saturday, 14 March 2015 will be excited to hear that event organisers will be introducing six fun new obstacles.

“We are super excited to be introducing six new obstacles,” says Pieter Du Plessis, IMPI Challenge Director.  “One of the new obstacles to look out for will be the Mitsubishi Maze.  Participants will need to weave their way through and under these magnificent vehicles.  It’s not as easy as it sounds.  Another obstacle will be the Dead Wood Scramble.  Entrants will need to run through a river over fallen trees and debris left behind by floods.  Prepare to do a lot of climbing and crawling”.

“To shake things up even more we’ve decided to run the course in reverse to last year,” continues Du Plessis.  “Obstacles will now require a new approach.  This will definitely add additional excitement for both the entrant and spectators alike.  Don’t forget Van Gaalens is renowned for slippery paths, so be sure to take care of ankles and knees.  There is a light at the end of the tunnel, after a challenging day out on course all entrants can look forward to a free Icy Hot Rub massage”.

The Festival Village will be teaming with activity driven by entertainment, good food and a great vibe.  A marked spectator route will give family members and friends the opportunity to show support and cheer on loved ones at the most exciting obstacles.
