Hartbeespoort (North West Province) – Top adventure seekers, Trish Bahlmann and Hanneke Dannhauser will face off at the much anticipated IMPI Elite Race at the picturesque Van Gaalens Cheese Farm on Thursday, 24 September 2015.

“The IMPI Challenge is exactly that, a challenge,” says Bahlmann. “It’s the tempo and intensity of IMPI that makes this race tough. The obstacles are varied, some you can hit really fast and hard, while others are more challenging. For me IMPI was a great introduction to the sport of obstacle course racing. It was so much fun that I have made a total transition from just a normal trail runner to an obstacle course racer. The event really is for anybody, it’s magic.”

According to Dannhauser IMPI is an experience on its own. “The positive vibe is definitely one of the top factors that make IMPI so special. After completing my first IMPI race in Cape Town earlier this year I was hooked. I’d recommend this event to others because it’s a nice challenge, with an awesome vibe. It is well organised and consistent, but most importantly, the IMPI challenge is great fun.”

Pre-registration for the IMPI Challenge GP#2 will take place at Mitsubishi Motors Centurion on Tuesday, 22 September 2015 between 16:00 – 19:00. Hanneke Dannhauser will be on hand to share her experience and advice for newcomers to the sport.
