Prize Purse announced for 2019 FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN

The FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN will boast an impressive overall prize purse of R250 000 in 2019, with the open men’s and women’s winners each taking home a whopping R30 000 on the day.  Prize money has been allocated to the top 10 finishers in the Open Category, with the runner- up in the Open Men’s and Women’s races taking home R17 000 each and the final spot on the podium securing R13 000.  Juniors, Veterans, Masters, Grand Master as well as the 70+ age groupers will earn prize money from 1st to 3rd place. “Celebrating its 5th anniversary in 2019, the FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN has established itself as a ‘proudly South African, proudly Cape Town’ must do road race,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director Stillwater Sports.  “We are both proud and excited to be able to award local and international athletes for their support and hard work, by offering a deserving prize purse.  This offering is made possible thanks to the valued support of our sponsors, whose passion and love for the event is infectious.”

This year each event charity has also been allocated x100 entrieswhich will be available at R500 each.  When entering on line, runners can choose this specific entry option.  The proceeds will go directly to the selected charity.
