Specialized bicycle up for grabs at Origin Of Trails

Specialized Rhyme FSR Comp 6FattieStellenbosch – Mountain bikers taking part in the Pennypinchers Origin Of Trails at the end of November are in for a treat, with Specialized Bicycles announcing that they’ll be giving away a 2016 Specialized 6 Fattie at this much anticipated event.

According to Bianca Grobbelaar, Marketing Manager of Specialized Bicycles Africa, both Origin Of Trails and Specialized have mutual ambitions to grow the sport of mountain biking. “Our aim is to get more people on bicycles, enjoying this great and healthy lifestyle that the sport offers. The organisers of Origin Of Trails are very proactive in giving back to the community and in developing our facilities, which are the trails. Both are very important to us.”

“We are excited to introduce the 2016 Specialized 6 Fattie platform at this year’s event,” continues Grobbelaar. “We’ll either give away a Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp 6 Fattie for men or a Specialized Rhyme FSR Comp 6 Fattie for women, depending on who wins the lucky draw on the Saturday after Stage Two.   Both these bicycles are about having fun on the trail. The winner will have to be present during prize giving to claim his/her prize.”

Specialized Bicycles Africa will be hosting a Body Geometry Fit Conference at Spier Wine Estate on Thursday, 26 November 2015 (the day before the start of the Pennypinchers Origin Of Trails) from 18:00 – 21:30. “Body Geometry Fit is the most comprehensive system for connecting bike and rider in perfect harmony,” says Grobbelaar. “The conference will be open to the public free of charge. The first 200 people to register online will get a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet the developers and founders of Body Geometry Fit, Dr. Andy Pruitt, Dr Roger Minkow and Scott Holz who will be visiting South Africa from the USA and will play host to the conference.”
