KFM had the airwaves buzzing with excitement this morning with the announcement of their 12 Seconds of Fame competition. As part of their FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN campaign with Reeds, one listener stands the chance to take home the newly launched Opel Astra 1.4 Enjoy Hatch worth over R330 000.
Primedia Broadcasting Cape Town Station Manager, Colleen Louw says: “KFM is excited to partner with race organisers again this year to celebrate all that is quintessentially Western Cape. One of the ways we’ll be doing this is to showcase the special talents of the people of the Cape through the 12 Seconds of Fame competition.”
“REEDS Motor Group is proud to support a fun event that also supports the community,” says Kevin Denicker, General Manager of REEDS Motor Group. “The Opel Astra is an exciting, luxury packed, sophisticated car that has just won the European Car of the Year award. Newly launched cars always generate that extra excitement and interest. We are hoping that this excitement will have a ripple effect in generating more entries for the 2016 event. We would like to see the continued growth of this event and be a part of it for many more years.”
According to Sue Ullyett, event manager for the FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN, giving away two cars definitely elevates the FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN to another level. “We are extremely excited to be giving away a luxury packed Opel Astra to KFM listeners, this in addition to our ‘win an Opel Adam’ competition that is currently running for entrants. The KFM ‘12 seconds of fame’ campaign is a fun, funky idea that is perfectly in line with what the FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN is all about. The vibe and on air excitement is a true reflection of the excitement experienced on race day.”
To enter KFM’s 12 Seconds of Fame competition, listeners have to shoot a 12 second video showing their talent. Upload the video to Instagram, tag @KFMza and use #KFM12 – it’s as easy as that. Ryan O’Connor and the Breakfast team will announce the winner on the show on Tuesday, 10 May 2016.
