The 2022 MyLife Dusi Canoe Marathon will be the 71st edition of this iconic canoeing race from Pietermaritzburg to Durban via the Mnsundusi and Mngeni Rivers through the famous Valley of a Thousand Hills.
The race will once again attract a healthy field of elite and recreational paddlers hoping to either win the K2 prize or tick off a national bucket list achievement.
With 126km standing between the start and the finish at Blue Lagoon on KwaZulu-Natal’s East Coast, the race is a demanding one which includes a number of unique portage sections that make the race unlike anything else paddlers will encounter.
Lifelong memories and friendships have been formed throughout the previous 70 editions of the renowned paddling event while the sense of achievement upon crossing the finish line and completing the journey from Pietermaritzburg to Durban is unmatched.
2022 will once again see Gameplan Media providing a full media service in the build up to the event as well as race reports, photos, captions and results on race days.
